The statement that art has meaning or is inherently political is true in the sense that that authors personal beliefs/bias do influence the author(s) work to some degree.

However, when the aforementioned phrase is mentioned it is usually the bastardized version of it. What the person usually means is that the author actually endorses/supports the person’s belief, ideologies and or political views. Usually this is a sign confirmation bias.

Now this type of confirmation bias isn’t specific towards one ideology, however I’ve noticed :feelswhere:that this behavior is typically more present in “left-leaning” people.

TLDR:

Preschool kids' crappy drawings of horses are political if you really think about it.

To further elaborate on my “confirmation bias” point, what I mean is that people will make the point that a specific work of art is actually supporting a political, social or religious ideology and will use only certain aspects of the art and ignore other aspects.

Retards would try to find sense and/or explanation to anything these days tbh

I would say that the different colors used might be a reference to the rainbow flag, aka the lgbt community flag, aka the fag flag. This means that you might be a homosexual user. Furthermore, the fact that you don't use the fag flag colors in the correct order might suggest a will to distance yourself from said community.
