Serious Albert camus said that when your entire life becomes an act of defiance, your getting it. This site entire audience would like a word with him prob.

I was thinking of this Albert Camus phrase and how idiotic and baffonery BS it is, when i realized this entire fucking site is FILLED with people that correspond with it.

Actually, he said something like "becoming so free that your entire existence becomes an act of defiance" or sum shit, which already doesnt mean much, but the jist of it is already stupid, is my entire point.

What does he mean by free? Lunatics? People that would be locked up in mental asylums some other time in history? People like ted bundy and richard ramirez?!

It sounds idealistic and vapid, because it is.

Well for example, I got the police in my town to hate me so much they chased me more than actual organised criminals dealing crack cocaine openly in the streets, because I used to be free. Free form the need to work and the need to sell drugs. I just had a nice car and I enjoyed smoking my joints in it. And this was a true act of defiance in a town as poverty stricken as mine. Everyone here is either a 30 year career slave or a crackhead benefits scrounger. And I was the only one who wasn't either but got to enjoy both worlds of having drugs and also having a nice car to show off. This made them want to defeat me badly. They did not realise the 3 years is nothing to a man who has waited his whole life.

Consider reading his novel "The Outsider."

By free it means you don't need any grand goal or to conform to the status quo. You grow beyond that.

World says that you need to do this or that, you say nah uh. You live just because you want to, not to accomplish anything.

Kind of like sandbox games. You don't play it to gain some achievements or to fight the final boss and call it a day, but because you like it.
