Look what YouTube is rolling out in mid-November. It is basically going to be a second Adpocalypse:
So basically, this could include videos of any game "Teen" or above, in addition:
"In the update, Rob from Team YouTube stated, “We’re expanding our enforcement to now cover online gambling with additional items that have monetary value, including digital goods (e.g. video game skins, cosmetics and NFTs).” Additionally, “Content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates social casino sites will now be age-restricted.”
Who even cares about NFTs anymore?
So would this mean that a Pokémon Let's Play where you are in the Celadon game corner run by Team Rocket would also get your video flagged as "Restricted" by YouTube?
On the upside, perhaps this will cause many Let's Players to move to Odysee or Rumble. Even normies might get mad over this and slowly start being pulled elsewhere.
It won't happen overnight, but something like this would be YouTube shooting itself right in its own ass.
