NTAAITA for Telling People Their Personality Is the Real Reason They're Rejected as an r/inceltears Member?
I am an active member of r/inceltears and recently posted a rant on r/rants, which has been getting a lot of mixed reactions. I’m just tired of seeing people constantly complaining about their looks when, in reality, it’s their awful personalities that are driving others away. I shared an example of a guy I know who has some of the most extreme and grotesque medical conditions out there.
He’s 5'2", has Crouzon Syndrome, which leaves his skull and face deformed from bone fusion. His face is a mess of deep, cystic acne that’s scarred and constantly oozing. He’s also got neurofibromatosis, causing disgusting tumors all over his body, and hydrocephalus, which has made his head balloon to an unnatural size. His skin is covered in painful, oozing warts, moles, and cysts, and he suffers from severe eczema that makes his skin crack and bleed. On top of that, he has lymphedema, making his limbs look swollen and monstrous, and elephantiasis that has deformed them even further. He also deals with Harlequin Ichthyosis, with thick, rigid skin plates that crack open, causing excruciating pain. Honestly, he looks like a horror movie character come to life.
But guess what? He’s dating models. Why? Because no one cares if you look like him or a 6'2" model with a chiseled jawline if your personality is trash. This guy is confident, positive, and doesn’t whine about how life’s unfair. He’s someone people actually want to be around, no matter how he looks.
I laid it out bluntly: If you’re getting rejected or bullied, it’s probably more about your personality than your looks. Nobody gets bullied for being ugly or disabled. Not even at school. Beauty privilege isn’t real. I told people to stop whining, take responsibility, and focus on becoming better people. Some people thanked me for the tough love, but others said I was being harsh, insensitive, and not understanding the struggles that come with appearance-related issues.
So, AITA for telling people their personality is the real reason they’re being rejected and not their looks?
NTAthose ugly inkwells need to get it through their deformed skulls that looks don't matter!
