This shit is practically unheard of in the developing world and they got there without having to kill babies. Old foids trying to outsmart their biological clock are a menace to society. Even if the kid doesn't have down syndrome, he is still at a great risk of being neurodivergent.
Environment also seems to be a big part. Look at the following map; only A and B are relevant since they discuss down syndrome prevalence rates. Even when adjusting for age, developing nations still have lower rates of down syndrome!
