Yes, there are men who put other men down or try to embarrass them, often to score points with women or to make themselves look stronger by comparison. That does not mean women have no role in it, because men only do this in the first place knowing it raises their standing with women.
Do not do? A small amount? That is nonsense. Every man learns quickly that if he shows weakness, women lose interest and respect, and it happens far too often to dismiss as a fringe case. Women play a central role in this because they decide who gets attention and who does not, and their choices set the standard men measure themselves against.
Incels are not upholding anything, they are failing in every measure society values. They berate women because women are the gatekeepers of sex and relationships, and it is through women's choices that they are excluded. If patriarchy really worked the way it is described, incels would be enjoying the benefits of it. Instead they have none of the money, women, or influence that the system supposedly hands to men.
Most men have no power and are not putting women down, they are struggling to be noticed at all.
