Nowadays everything costs so much. Particularly in many western cities - for example: A simple visit to an aquarium/a restaurant/etc. would cost roughly 5% of my monthly wage (even after studymaxxing/wagecucking after the deduction of taxes - roughly 50% of the wage and the rent, not even taking car fuel/money for public transport, water supplies, food supplies and electricity into account).

It is insane how much things cost when you started to work (even when it is just a small/part-time job). When you have a girl at your side you can at least try to survive in that complete hell because you have an additional labour force that supports you. Being single is an enormous disadvantage financially speaking - especially in the current time where you absolutely need all money you can get to barely stay afloat (without having to resort to living in forced asceticism).
