I always see people not know how to use Tempest correctly.
Especially on Operations mode, which I primarily play.
Tip 1
Use her rolling ability to move from cover to cover, in a gunfight.
It is a lot faster than running to the next cover.
Or you can simply use it to quickly close distance to an enemies location.
Tip 2
She can move and run faster when getting shot at.
Use this to outrun enemies.
The more they shoot, the further you will get ahead of them.
Then, you can pick a spot to ambush them when they come looking for you.
Tip 3
Make sure you place her escape device pull back point where you are going to be out of fire.
It’s useless to just pull yourself out into the open to continue to get shot at.
