This is a topic that has been going viral on TikTok recently. A few years ago there was an autistic truecel that did a "Bendy and the Ink Machine" dance in one of his classes to which he was of course recorded and posted everywhere to be mocked by the Internet
This is a story that has occurred many times on the Internet, an autistic unattractive "weird" kid does something weird, normies record it and make fun of him online. What makes this both noteworthy and disgusting, in my opinion, is that years after this original video made its rounds online, some random black kid decided to make a video that was obviously inspired by the Bendy kid, but he only does this in an ironic way to make fun of the original truecel and the TikTok guy is actually relatively well known and famous in his school. You can tell he's satire by looking at his account and older content which I will show
Profile and old video. Obviously a troll to anyone who's been on the Internet long enough
It's apparent to anyone who watches the video and runs his account that he's being ironic but the vast majority of TikTok users aren't capable of doing even this small level of due diligence and took it at face value, assuming it was another genuine weird kid doing a weird dance, causing the video to go viral much like the original Bendy one did years ago. Of course, this is not a problem for the TikTok Bendy kid who is just fucking around for attention and status. He just plays the persona of a spastic truecel for a minute and then goes back to being a normie and gets millions of views and fame. It got to the point where he even did the dance in front of his whole school where they cheered for him
Remember these are normies playing a character to mock weird autistic kids that are being cheered at and getting the celebrity treatment. If you mock truecels you literally get treated like a war hero by normies. And meanwhile, the original Bendy kid has never been known because he did not do it for clout and is not playing a character. The original Bendy kid was most likely bullied every day after that video went viral. He most likely never had a girlfriend and has been doing everything he can to distance himself from that video and all the mockery. But when someone does the exact same thing as a "joke" to make fun of you they get rewarded with attention, fame, and status. I know all of this is water but it's an interesting case study of this event at such a viral level, the difference has never been clearer. Autistic truecel does a retarded dance and gets viciously mocked by the Internet, normie clout chaser does the same thing in a satirical or "ironic" way and gets rewarded
