If I had a nickel for every time I heard some pseudo-intellectual say that “ everyone terminally online “. No there fucking not nigga. The average normie doesn’t know what an Internet forum, doesn’t understand how to torrent or seed shit, and has never even been to 4chan. The vast majority of people have never been on any blog site or even newgrounds. If it isn’t a social media app (tinder,YouTube, twitter/X, facebook, etc) then they’re not gonna know what it is. And sad to say but if we’re being real most people don’t even use Reddit. I know we code redditors as normies but I bet if any of you guys asked people at your job what Reddit gold is they’d look at you like you were speaking in hieroglyphics. Most people are legitimately outside and dealing with real people and not dudes with anime profiles picks and still suffer from loneliness. Then men at least anyway. WE are the ones who are terminally online because no one else will accept. Any mediocre slab of goyslop in human form has no reason to seclude themselves in the home and be glued to a computer because they are accepted.

i just want to stop feeling lonely

“chronically online” jsut because they use discord lmao normies want to be interesting

average typing speed is 30wpm and most peoples primary device is smartphone, half of society is women and 20% of men are chads. By statistical definition, only a fraction of the population can even be like us, isolated, zero friends, constantly online. Lmfao if anyone thinks women struggle to form friendships, have sex and relationships.

Its the 2025 iteration of millennial redditor self-deprecation

i can’t stand x but i might reinstall it for the niche art accounts, got paranoid when i was feeling vulnerable and nuked the main account i was using to follow a bunch i think. i doubt it can be revived and i’ll have to curate my feed again using hyper omissive tendencies (woke eye rape) which isn’t that hard but is a drag to do, on a new account; i’ve never socialized in the first place

People posting online are terminally online, especially right wing spaces nigga

if you believe trump supporters aren't terminally online you're deluded then. The average normies that voted for Trump did so because they're retarded boomers who hate paying taxes. The alt right shit is chronically online weirdo dorks who sit on their computer all day whining about jews

being terminally online is a mindset nigga. You can be online alot without thinking you're changing the world with your online whining about jews

I can type 5 wpm bro!

Boomer take. This isn't 2005 anymore. Zoomers and millennials are very much terminally online, especially zoomers. Most of my coworkers are zoomers and they talk about tik-tik trends, e-celebrities and other "online" shit constantly. They reference memes all of the time. I don't think I can go a day without at least one coworker referencing the "jet2 holiday" meme.

"B-but they never used muh newgrounds" of course not nigga, that site hasn't been relevant in like 20 years. Most people under 30 never used myspace either, whats your point here?

Anyway I deal with zoomers all the time and I can tell for many of them, their lives are just work, class, gym, and internet. Most zoomers are terminally online, hyper-introverted, and closed off. Your average zoomer is so introverted that they avoid talking on the phone. It gives them "anxiety", so they just text.

Millennials are almost as bad. Most millennials I meet are VERY obvious redditors, some even talk about the subreddits they use in real life. Zoomers often talk about reddit as well, it's just tik-tok is their main place.

Counterpoint, the memes that zoomers talk about or so mainstream that it probably seeps into legacy media like cable tv, Netflix, or like I mentioned the apps that can be downloaded on your phone. I didn’t say zoomers, or any other generation for that matter never used internet at all or did use memes. I said that there use of the internet is too extremely limited for them to be called terminally online. That label shouldn’t be used for anyone but true incels.

You think the average zoomer or millennial spends more time watching TV than they do using the internet? Wow, you're even more out of touch than I thought.

Like I said, I hear zoomers and millennials talk about tiktok/reddit in real life all the time. It's very obvious they spend A LOT of time on them from the way they talk and the worldviews they express. I see zoomers mimicking what they see on tik tok in real life. And when it comes to male millennials, I find reddit to be a very good representation of how the average one talks. The ones I deal with are bang on identical to the average redditor.

You seem to have this really antiquated notion that the internet is for nerdy social outcasts. This isn't the early to mid 2000s anymore. Zoomers and millennials spend pretty much the same amount of time on the internet as "nerds" now.

Most people don't use forums because forums are dead. Reddit killed them. Why would anyone go out of their way to host a website and create a forum when they can make a subreddit in a few seconds for free? Almost all internet traffic revolves around a very small number of massive sites. That's just the way the internet is now. You can't say someone isn't terminally online simply because they don't use antiquated/obscure websites. And the same is true for most incels in real life. Most everyday incels don't use anachronistic platforms either.

Anyway, if you can't see the massive social impact that sites like tik-tok and reddit clearly have on zoomers and millennials due to them spending a lot of time on them everyday, then you're just extremely out of touch and sheltered. You have antiquated notions of normality, ironically due to being terminally online.

Alt right hardly represents a portion of Trump votes lmao, a large portion of conservatism votes are typically just red states traditionally voting due to red states majorly being Christian or having heavily reinforced traditional values. Like you said, average normie that voted for trump are boomers, which were the significant reason to his win; and with young men it was split due to Harris' stance on Israel(also fucked her votes with normally left-leaning women who decided to vote right or simply vote for another party) as well as the stupid decision to push this whole 'women vs men' thing onto left vs right, alienating left-leaning men.

Media just really exaggerates how much the alt-right and alt-left sways political decisions, in comparison to the whole of American's voters they are only a tiny fraction of the voters (yes, even the boomer KKK members don't hold much sway compared to the general Christian population as well as traditionalists). I wouldn't call trump supporters any more 'terminally online' than harris' ones, hardly any % wise is going to be gremlins spamming 200k posts in far right forums or smth.

If it isn’t a social media app
But those are a major part of the internet right now, whether you (or me) like it or not.
So yes, I still believe that, at least in the western world, most (young) people are online. (many spend hours a day on these social media apps)

the online right on 4chan, tiktok, and twitter are chronically online. You can tell they're chronically online because of their mindset.

I'd say Proud Boys are an example of right wingers not chronically online. They are retarded but they bash in the skulls of leftists and don't live on the internet

One more is Blood Tribe.

Then you have your groups that are half and half. Patriot Front is half chronically online dorks with the other half of their members being normal dudes, it's chronically online leaders with a lot of normal rank and file members

“chronically online” jsut because they use discord lmao normies want to be interesting
Being chronically online is anything but interesting. I mean it's interesting for me because internet is an interesting place, but who actually thinks that "chronically online" makes an interesting character feature?

Fair point. TBH my view of how many people are online is a little warped because of the community I live in. I from the Bronx the the niggas and spics that are there only really use instagram and TikTok. The average Tyrone or Shaniqua has never listen to or know what a podcast is.

They do , but their internet time is limited to the SAME content in endless loop named : Tiktok , Youtube Shorts and instagram reels/facebook.

But you have a good point, the actual internet you describ they have no clue about, torrent for normies is racing their heartbeat by thinking that they are going to go to jail for 10 years for that shit :feelskek:

Well, on genZ. I remember a video in which they asked people, 18-20 yrs how much time did they spend on phone and they, except one time, said 3-4 hours.

From what I've seen I think many normies know about Reddit, other thing is that they use it usually.

And also it has some logic. Forums, anonymous conversations, are only for people who have lame lifes. Do you think some guy who could fuck two, three girls a day wakes up and decides to start a random conversation in reddit. Same logic with inceltears, no Chad or Stacy is there. Just see how in this forum people postmax, imaging how lame, worthless your life is to postmax. The best thing you can do in your day is increase your rank in an anonymous virgin forum

The only hobby women have is scrolling on tikTok and consuming on Temu and Shein. How is that not terminally online?

Reddit is the 4th most popular website in America and gets 110 million visitors per day. I was surprised too when I found out Reddit isn't just weirdo introverted nerds.

Every person on Reddit and X/Twitter thinks they're changing the world with every post they make. "We are crusaders for great social justice! Yay for women's liberation! Yay for troons! Yay for nerds!" :soy: :soy: :foidSoy: :foidSoy:

normies who claim they are chronically online

Normies are more in IG, WhatsApp, Telegram.

I dont agree, normies use the web a lot although for different reasons.

YouTube too. My normie zoomer sister cant do anything without listening to some dumb vlog or some shit in the background
Yes and tik tok. It seems they use IG and tik tok to dating. Of course the men who do that are good looking young guys and foids whatever looks they have.

Nailed it as usual. Just because the average person doesn't spend most of their time on obscure and, frankly, obsolete parts of the web doesn't mean that they aren't online, or that the way they see the world isn't being majorly affected by the stuff they consume online.

A crazy thing is, just a decade or two, one could still genuinely make the case that the average person isn't really online and is influenced more by legacy media than anything on the net, and we see this changing in real time. A lot of people have only started really using the internet in the last couple of years.
