As usual with stats like this, having to do with how wealthy or attractive a country is, of course there's a crazy difference between Austria and Slovakia, even though we border each other:feelshaha:.

The highest share of non-national minors was recorded in Luxembourg (45.7%), Austria (21.9%) and Malta (19.3%). In contrast, shares below 1% were recorded in Slovakia (0.4%), Poland (0.8%) and Romania (0.9%).

We have the lowest share in the EU, meanwhile they are second only to Luxembourg, which if you've seen my posts like this before, you know that I always point out barely qualifies as an actual country anyway:feelshaha:.

And that's just explicitly children who aren't citizens of those countries, not minorities in general, since minorities and immigrants who are citizens count as national under this:feelshaha::worryfeels:.

13% in (S)pain

And less than half of that in Portugal:feelswhere:. Would you say the difference is purely about Spain being richer, or is there something more to it:waitwhat:?

Probably because in Spain immigrants are treated like royalty, from women to institutions.

Sounds likely, thanks for the answer:feelsokman::yes:.

If you count those with the nationality it must be like 30-40% at least in countries like France, Great Britain or Germany
