I mean, it's good that fatal accidents are such an absolute, miniscule minority of them, but the fact that there a six figure number of accidents which either leave someone permanently unable to work or needing more than half a year to recover happening every year is insane. And that's not even talking about the fact that it hadn't lowered a bit from 2017.

Also. those 1-3 months bars are likewise much higher than I'd like them to be.

i assume in both cases its looks bias. The dogs are seen as children, neotenous, so no responsibility. In the case of workplace injuries, I guarantee its 99% men getting injured, hence nobody cares. I heard long ago that they tried to do a stat on female workplace injuries or deaths in the UK but couldnt because there were too little. It's the identical pattern as when they literally campaign in streets to protect women from violence in australia when by every known stat, 70-80% of victims are male. They dont give a fuck. I do wonder though what other stats are hidden. Arent men the majority of rape victims if we include prison rape for example? idk if i remember correctly.

Certainly. If even 10% of those permanently incapacitated were women, we'd 100% hear about it constantly, at least in online gender war spaces and such.
