have you investigated if paper survives plane crashes with a giant fireball? I know you haven't.Its not unusually convenient that objects made of paper survive a massive fireball/explosion and are able to be immediately recovered? You sound like a lunatic buddy
Because the passport isn't the only piece of paper to survive the fireball. There was paper mail that was in the belly of the plane. There was wedding invitations. There were watches, id cards, jewelry, wallets, and plastic frequent flier cards all survived. There were unsinged pieces of people all over street. Hands, torsoes, etc.
And as I previously stated you can find many of the passengers personal possessions at the 9/11 museum.
So yes, things can and do survive the fireball.
And like I said, there were thousands of New Yorkers walking amongst the debris. A passport would stick out.
ANd it's kinda irrelevant anyway. The hijackers paid their tickets with their own credit cards. They had manifests with their names. They had people on airphones telling airline employees what seats the terrorists were sitting in. They had rental cars in their name. They had documentation of taking flying lessons in the actual car they left at the airport.
The papertrail really is a mile long of the terrorist being involved.
