Video games are the only thing I enjoy. My willpower to exist without them is nonexistent. If I had to go more than 3 days without video games I would probably jam a shotgun into my mouth and splatter my brains out. Props to you for finding something else you enjoy. For me every second not spent playing games nags me and feels wasted and it drives me insane

It's because you got addicted.
If videos games are the only thing you enjoy then stop playing for a moment, try to do a dopamine fasting and find other hobbies and activies to replace gaming.

Go to game quitters forum and see the daily journals of people that are passing through the same situation. Most of them are trying to improve their lives, stopping gaming and finding new hobbies.

Edit: There are a lot of journals of people that is probably passing through worse situations than you. Read some of them and try to understand what they've been doing to change their lives. You can get motivated by reading some of them fighting to quit this addiction.

life has no meaning why not do what i like , i think drugs are wrong and bad cope , games ,porn and anime can be FREE if you are rent free in some room or basement

just buy some cheap PC and enjoy free P2P games and media

temporary DeTox is good for everything i play games every day for 3 hours total

Imagine after 10 - 15 years living with this kind of thought.

Why would I brag about this? I'm just showing that you can get over your addictions and you're not alone.

You just replaced an habit for another. If you like it and you're okay to continue living this way, there is no problem.
but there are some people that have goals in life that won't be able to accomplish because gaming and anime addiction is stopping him.

There are people out there in a worse situation than you and is trying hard to improve their lives.
You probably won't see big results at the beginning, but after 6 months or 1 year you'll probably be really proud of yourself for doing it.

tbh I don't want to live this way anymore, that's why I'm trying to change it.

I use the pomodoro technique to study and with this website you can set up how many minutes will be your pomodoros and see all the stats.

Thanks man, I already started by blocking most sites, this one included. It only being 1 hour and shit this is tough, hopefully I come back in a week with a success story.

There is an app called Forest. I have been using it, and it is really helpful. link: https://www.forestapp.cc/
It is more interactive than the simple Pomodoro timer, so you might want to give it a try.

Well everytime I try to quit smth I can't keep up too long. For example I smoke since 15 and there were times I quitted but I came back to smoking after max 1 week. Also I usually lack motivation to do things such as studying, cleaning, cooking etc

I don't have motivation to do anything too...
It fucking hard to do anything and I almost give up these days. I'm trying to do is study at least 15 minutes a day and develop discipline because when your motivation have gone what it remains is only discipline.
You don't have idea how it's hard for me to do anything. I have an urge to do anything, but study.
a few weeks ago all I used to do was LDAR and playing video games all day and I wanted to change that.
In order to stop gaming or smoking, you must replace these bad habits for other ones.
