I checked it and even considering inflation you're right, they're more expensive now. 60 cents in 1984 (year of that comic?) is $1.75 in 2023, but in comic book stores I see that monthly comic issues cost like 3€ (3 dollars and something) so they are indeed overpriced.

BTW I thought Power Pack was from the 2000s, surprised they been there for so long.
