2K. Use 1440p. 4K is really not that great, and you need like insane graphics and graphics cards to run it.

Broootal, I was thinking about this, my PC should be able to handle most things, but the wattage would be off the charts with a 4K monitor. Do you guys have experience using 2K or 4K monitors?

I don't have experience with either, I use a 1080p 180hz 21.5" monitor. Personally, I value framerate far more than resolution. I also wouldn't compromise with DLSS/FSR in order to be able to run games at high resolutions.

I have a big 4k monitor, but I don't play games where I care about refresh rate. 120hz is fine for me.

I think you should go one way or the other. If framerate is most important, then I'd get a 1080p monitor where you can max out frames. At 1440p, it's still tough to max them out unless you have like a 5090.
