A $250.000 research on a small group of people active on the internet is already too much, but I guess that is the amount someone with a PhD is paid when they do so-called research. A WIRED Article was posted last month regarding deradicalising incels and the conclusions that have been made from research regarding incels.
It is a big article so I want to point a few things that caught my eye in this article, it is basically just another blackpill by the way. They basically admit that if you are an incel then you are doomed, you cannot be helped, only arrested or killed.
Apparently imprisoning me is actually an option that is considered, but a female going on a date with me is completely ludicrous and not an option.
Having a girlfriend would deradicalise me and I would no longer be an incel, but no, this is not a possibility because I possess a particulal set of genes.
How do you deradicalise an incel?
Pulling disaffected young men back from the brink is complicated, and it’s making academics question their whole approach to extremism

TL;DR: I do not know what to do.At the very least, in the short-term, the justification for deradicalisation for its supporters is simple; there is no other choice. There are roughly 25,000 men on the radar of police as potential terror threats in the UK. If you were to arrest all of them, not to mention breaching a huge number of human rights of many potentially innocent people, you would be increasing the overall prison population by around 30 per cent, an impossible burden. Not to mention just arresting people after they commit violence doesn’t go anyway towards preventing those attacks from happening and the loss of life that always comes with.
“We can’t simply arrest our way out of this problem,” explains Horgan. “Disengagement and deradicalisation aren’t the soft option, they’re the smart option. The sooner we realise that, the sooner we can get on with building the evidence base for doing this stuff in reality.”
