I just started gymmaxxing today because I finally found my dumbbells and there are 2 questions I have.

1. How much weight should I add to dumbbells per week?

2. How much rest time should I have.

You’re doing PPL right?

It’s not a per week thing.
Depending on the rep range you’re doing, add 5lbs (2.5kg) once you hit 8 or 12 reps with solid form.

1m30s or 2m is enough.

I am assuming you are doing bodybuilding so 1 minute unless you are like me who does 30 seconds rest for intensity

Yeah I'm doing body building.

After my first gym session I don't think I could add 10 lb a week tbh

2 minutes rest time should be good. And add enough weight to where your hitting failure between 6-8 reps, don’t be doing more than 12 because that’s too light. Also bulk and eat in a surplus with 1g protein per pound of BW

I'm 225lb rn so wouldn't bulking be bad?
