You are based as fuck dude - I'd go with the 2JZ. It really is hard to beat. B58 is more common in Europe and in stock form does have some similar abilities but what I have seen people do with 2JZ's is incredible. I know one with a stock bottom end that pushes 1000bhp on the track for several seasons at a time with minimal ill effects. One of the managers where I work has a 2JZ Supra he races. We convoyed to the Nurburgring with a few of the other gaffers a few years ago - I went in my landcruiser with trailer, parts and tools as "support vehicle" and from what I could see this Supra was keeping up with the directors twin turbo Porsche 9-11 and that is like a missile.
Even Turbo Maxima can beat 911 Twin Turbo on a straight line.
I would either buy a Turbo kit for my Nissan Altima 3.5 or buy a old Chevrolet Corvette LS and supercharge it.
The trunk looks big enough, for them to fit in...
