I was stricken with chronic illness about three years ago. It fostered suicidal ideation. Eventually I was put on anti-depressants after much trial and error. They made the illness more tolerable and I could pursue my interests again. A recent tragedy knocked me back down pretty far, but I'm finding through time and drug therapy that I have some of the tools I need to put my shoes on in the morning (afternoon).

Any port in a storm, I say.
