I've always fantasized about it. Since my life is pretty much ended, the job market won't get better due to automation, and I'm pretty much stuck here being incel and my age will exceed most young organisation's soon, and that my autism will ensure that I will never live a decent life or have partner(s).
I have one fantasy in mind. That is, to die with glory. With meaning. To make a positive impact on people I like.
I always dream of being a kamikaze pilot, or a IJA soldier charging into machine gun positions with certain death, or to blow myself up carrying japanese AT mines into a Sherman tank.
In the battle of midway, there was an damaged American bomber who is going down in flames anyway. He decided to do the only thing - attempt to crash into a IJN carrier instead of pointlessly dying, which he failed at.
"This will be a fight against overwhelming odds from which survival cannot be expected. We will do what damage we can"
(This is purely fantasizing, and the roles I assume like kamikaze pilot, does not exist anymore.)
