"Ocarina of Time is a game about a loss of childhood innocence. One might assume, based on the genre that this theme would be related to the heroes journey. However, I would argue that Ocarina of Time's themes are much darker in terms of their true meaning. Ocarina of Time is about rape and the trauma related to it. The game begins with you entering a orifice inside of a larger living being. The way this is portrayed is deeply disturbing. Link enters the hole of someone he saw as a mentor, and it's obvious he's hesitant to do so.
And after he conquers the parasite inside that person, he has to witness their death. Could this parasites represent a sexual disease?
Later in the game, Link enters a hole in the graveyard section of kakariko village where he encounters slim, tall, and seemingly naked creatures known as redeads. If you draw close to the redeads, they jump on Link, and seemingly hump him while biting. Link encounters many girls on his adventure. Most of them show some form of sexual interest in him.
Princess Ruto sees Link as her future husband.
Malon is clearly sexually interested in him.
Zelda treats Link like her knight in shining armor.
After Link draws the sword, he becomes an adult and is trapped within a world that is dark and corrupted. Firstly, it's important to note that Link himself is feminized. He has earrings despite being a man and has softer features. Devs have admitted before that they made Link feminine in hopes of appealing to female nature. I'd argue that this itself is not neccecessarily true. Link's more androgenous appearance might well in fact be more connected to his bisexual and gender fluid nature.

The world being brutal and dark is a representation of Link awakening to the childhood exploitation that robbed him of his innocence. Link being trapped in slumber after drawing the Master Sword could represent Ganondorf drugging and raping him.
When Link returns to Kakiriku village he enters two more holes.
The first hole leads to a race where Link must follow the grave keeper in a timely manner. If he does so properly he will be rewarded with the hook shot.
In short, Link plays a game with an older man to get something he wants. Something he was conditioned to do as a child.
Under the Well is the more significant and disturbing of the two holes. It's a dungeon filled with blood smeared all over the floor and a terrifying monster with multiple hands. Could this represent the blood that leaked from Links anus when he was molested as a child? Could the boss represent Link's rapist? A monster with multiple hands, desperate to gag and touch him? Worse yet, the dungeon is under Kakiriku village. A seemingly peaceful part of Links childhood. In that village as a child, Link can encounter an older man who is extremely skinny and malnourished sitting under a tree at night. He states that he hates humanity and his parents? Could this be because he was sexually exploited?."

This is every YouTube essay about (insert children's game) being dark in a nutshell.

Please put a trigger warning next time.

This is a satire. It's supposed to be stupid. I'm mocking these YouTube channels.
