Why, you ask? Because this mobster ALLEGEDLY raped a foid. No proof that he actually did it. Would it be in character for him to do it? Probably. But that doesn’t prove that he actually raped someone.

I don't think the horrific thing here is assuming he committed a rape without evidence. It's that extended torture to death is a viable response to a sexual assault. I believe in more or less humane execution as a final stop (with the preferred thing being rehabilitation/atonement). If they wanted him to get raped in an equivalent way it would make sense; if you want to dish out 10/100/1000x worse shit than the bad guy did you are an emotionally driven child at best. Complete idiots.
