That's only partially true. They are ghosts of the past. MGTOWs would be us, if we would be born earlier. MGTOW are mostly late boomers, x-gen and early millenials. In the 80's, 90's and early 00's it was much easier for under average to average men betabuxx some women. Change of situation(dating apps, extreme feminism, hatred for men in our societies) had just different repercusions on younger men and older men. Younger men(let's be honest now, incels are mostly young) just don't have any chance at all, but older guys get divorced by women who realized they have more options now. Sure, there are some incels in denials there but most of them just get fucked hard in divorce court, and now they are in denial of how much of their life is wasted and want to live as much as they can. Which is good thing I quess. There are also some MGTOWS who are not incels nor divorcee but saw how brutal divorce can be and are kinda affraid of women. I was actually mgtow a year ago until I was slowly becoming a volcel. I love mgtow but we did have a bunch of retards in it. Men who fucking complained all the time and would act feminine. It made me stop identifying as one, especially since they sounded like butthurt children.

But some of them cope hard by saying that you can get any women of your choice if you moneymaxx. And the worst cope is one of their fundamental ideas, which is doing hobbies, buying things, etc to enjoy life other than spending time with significant other, or I'd call it aromanticmaxx.
