Contrary to popular belief, things don't get better after high School. At best most people are just able to have the freedom to get away from their toxic environment that they were in. But even with that there's only so much running. You can do. High School is what shapes you. So whatever you were during high School, whether it was a nerd or a Chad or anything in between, you're going to mentally see yourself as that for the rest of your life. I know it's a common trope. The football player quarterback in high school will always see himself as a Chad even when his looks fade because his brain developed around that notion of himself being that way. Same thing with nerds. Everyone, especially women always make the criticism that dorky guys in high school never get over the fact that they were nerd. Nerd. Even though those women are cum buckets, they are absolutely right in this regard. When you feel inadequate during the ages between 13 to 17 (which might I add is a major part of mental development for young people) that is going to stick with you the whole way through your life. Honestly, this applies to us doubly so since most of us are on here because of terrible experience, we've had not through just life in general, but especially through those 4 years of high school. There's a reason why there are so many high school movies about the social hierarchy and caste systems that people have during that time. A lot of that is absolutely true. If I'm ever able to ascend and have a family, I'm going to definitely try to homeschool my kid and try to feel foster a feeling of belonging so that his psyche is destroyed or damaged.
