This is actually an amazing way of optimising the collection of resources from our waste. It's better to eat shit burgers than be dependent on foreigners for your basic food supply. Every country should strive for autarky while trying to engage in free trade. Overdependence on foreigners, especially for basic goods, causes you to be dependent on them and have less negotiating power.
My cousin works at meat factory and she says after seeing what they put in ground meat she will never eat premade burger ever again.
