I was questioning how it tastes, because elderly friends of my said they just eat it when they are bored. But it tasted fucking disgusting and who eats is out of boredom
That's a lie. jflCooked eggs are more bioavailable.
Yolks are good and have good stuff in them.
Dumb.
JflI don't want to risk salmonella, any egg can have it no matter if organic or country they are from.
"Salmonellenrisiko rohe Eier" - every source I've read so far, said it's very risky. My dad got a bad case of salmonella about 15 years ago, he war around 50 then.Jfl
Been gulping raw eggs, up to ten eggs a day, each day for over seven years now. xD
No issues.
It's not, the heat changes the protein structure making them easier to digest. There are also inhibitors in raw eggs that block digestion until they're cooked out. 91% digestible vs 50%. You're cucking yourself out of almost half the nutrients by not cooking them. Especially when you only eat the whites and not the yolks, which have tons of good stuff like choline. That's a lie. jfl
You do you."Salmonellenrisiko rohe Eier" - every source I've read so far, said it's very risky. My dad got a bad case of salmonella about 15 years ago, he war around 50 then.
My doctor said it's dangerous.
Those are the reasons why I said what I said.
I eat the whole eggs always AND vitamins get destroyed by heat. It's not, the heat changes the protein structure making them easier to digest. I have a little egg cooker and I just make hardboiled eggs with it. Easy as hell, just use distilled water so it's easier to clean.
Yeah, you get 91% of the nutrients if you cook it vs 50% if you don't cook it.I eat the whole eggs always AND vitamins get destroyed by heat.
Also, you can let the bacteria pre digest the food for you.
I rarely eat anything fresh. I literally let it rot for a while.
Listen, maybe the protein, but not the vitamins.Yeah, you get 91% of the nutrients if you cook it vs 50% if you don't cook it.
Eggs are good for their animal protein and choline chiefly. Protein is much more bioavailable when you cook it. Minimal loss of choline with cooking. Heat sensitive vitamins like A and D don't lose that much, much less than the protein raw vs cooked, when you "boil" without overcooking. You should also be getting such vitamins from other sources. You can get dirt cheap vitamin D3 in a fat solution that's better, I know because I got my blood levels checked multiple times with supplementation.Listen, maybe the protein, but not the vitamins.
Ask any physician. They will all tell you that the vitamins get destroyed from the heat and if you lack vitamins your body cannot properly process the protein etc. .
I don't want to risk salmonella, any egg can have it no matter if organic or country they are from.
...because my doctor said it's dangerous, and the (German) sources I've read said it too.You do you.
Ok, you keep believing and trusting the authority....because my doctor said it's dangerous, and the (German) sources I've read said it too.
For the vitamins, there are much better sources than eggs, according at least to this pharmacy, but it fits with what I've found in other sources.
