It's not really a "drawback" because if I didn't take the deal I would still retain every bad memory.
A marginally better question would be to have the option to erase all bad memories but remain an ugly incel or turn into a chad but retain said bad memories. Even then, the obvious choice would be to turn into a chad, but at least that would present a dilemma of some sort where each one comes with a "catch" (even if one option is very clearly superior).
