... but they're probably all men so I wouldn't recommend it. lol

5 month relationship just to find out she has a dick brutal

Someone should study those people. I watched dnsl and some other guys trolling them occasionally, and what I saw was quite disturbing lol. They literally live in that game.

I mean, I do think there's still quite a big market for social games like this.

The exact titles change and a lot of them are on mobile now, but they're still out there.

Not everyone wants to fight things :)

That's why so many TV shows are dramas and stuff as opposed to action.

Not the same anymore, because redditors, children and transgenders took over.

I mean, to be fair I think they always had a lot of men using female avatars so that's not super new.

And I think SL is 18+.

I mean yeah chances of you finding a woman wouldn't be very high and I hate the risk of being catfished especially if you sent any sexual messages, it would be very embarassing.

One of my truecel discord friends used to play that. He's a 35 year old incel in present day.

Pretty sure that the notorious Reddit janny Bardfinn plays this game.

I used to play Avakin Life

Sounds stupid.

I played it for maybe two months. The worlds ranged from extremely degenerate content to extremely holesome content.

I did enjoy the beautiful worlds / islands of whatever the call them there.

I met a woman, outside of SL, with whom I used to play in a DayZ community.

She explained to me how SL works, a little bit, because I once asked whether anybody knew about this "game" while we were on a run.

Back then she had her own store and used to sell virtual shoes.
She was so successful that she was able to earn an actual living with her virtual business.

She even showed me her store in SL.

That was, I think 17 years ago or so. It surely was interresting but eventually we all parted ways due to irl stuff and I quit SL because it was just not for me.

is that game still active? I've wanted to try it out since i saw it on the office but haven't

Yeah it is although less popular now. Still good though.

That's really cool about the shop and stuff!

I had a shop in virtual London once that I was sharing with a friend but they evicted us because I was like 1-2 days late paying the rent! Really harsh!

Yes, it is harsh, just like real life. No wonder they call it second life.

You also need a pretty strong system to run it properly.

you should've seen me on PlayStation Home back in the day. I was surrounded by bitches :chad::chad::chad:

Yeah erm... it depends on the viewer. Alchemy is a good one for weaker systems. Catznip is OK but a bit buggy. For more powerful machines I guess Firestorm or the official viewer.

lol, smooth.

PS Home was pretty nice tbh.

Being a biker in real life wasn't enough for Yosemite Sam here, he had to be a biker in Second Life too.

Looks like a pedofile ring to me tbh

I used to troll these types of people on gmod rp servers back when I was in high school

Nah they're all council housed boomers

There's some truth to this I guess. People who maybe don't have much in their real life and so they try to have a better one in the game, and they would tend to be older because the game is older.

That doesn't necessarily mean they're people you wouldn't want to interact with though.

I only ever used the official viewer. Did not know that others existed.

Yeah they have pros and cons. Firestorm strikes me as like the official client but for power users, lol

On mobile there is an official client now too apparently, but typically I use Lumiya which is one of the older Android clients that is mostly text, like a normal chat app.

I remember watching SL videos long time ago. Remember them blowing thousands of irl money on weddings. Just be richfag was a rule there.

I remember reading about this game in like 2006 on a pop soyence magazine i used to follow and they made it sound like the coolest shit ever.

Obese 30-50 years old single mother landwhales maybe

rather just play porn games, or use porn ai chat bots.

guarantee that you only chat with a machine and not some looney

A couple of my coworkers actually play this game. I somewhat understand the appeal but I also somewhat don't. I would also imagine that the people who play it are Millennials and X'ers and I'm a beginning of the run Zoomer.

I do enjoy watching DanielfromSL troll people in Second Life.

Hm I wonder what zoomers play instead.

Maybe something like vrchat although SL does many things that vrchat can't do, as I understand. So there are pros and cons.

Yeah VRchat is the closest to SL that Zoomers play, nothing else pretty much close to it tbh.
