Who will disappoint you? You can live in an optimistic bubble your whole life, your conditions will never take you beyond the limits of discourse.
You can have the simplest and most fanciful views of life and no one will stop you
These people can believe whatever they want, they can belittle the reality of others for not having had the same experience and they don't even need to make an effort to have a vision beyond the experience, everything is ok for them, everything is safe for them

That's why I only take seriously the views of people who have somehow been rejected by life.

I agree. Those who have lived in a bubble all their life, have never experienced pain and humiliation in life and have only been rewarded. They have no idea how the world truly is. They have a completely different view of life.

It's baffles me sometimes to think how they see the world from their own lens.

Buddy I went to college, ALL of these professors were like that.

They are just plain insane.
