U.S. birth rate plummets to lowest point in 30 years

–Rates for women in their 20s continued to fall and hit record lows. They fell 4 percent.
–Perhaps most surprising, birth rates for women in their 30s fell slightly, dipping 2 percent for women ages 30 to 34 and 1 percent for women 35 to 39. Birth rates for women in their 30s had been rising steadily to the highest levels in at least half a century, and women in their early 30s recently became the age group that has the most babies. The U.S. once was among a handful of developed countries with a fertility rate that ensured each generation had enough children to replace it.
ALSO: Basically, some conservative news anchor Tucker Carlson said what PSL has been saying about women's salaries and hypergamy, see below, so basically he got criticized by women for saying this truth. I mean all seen it up close just in dating....which you can extrapolate from that alone.
"Study after study has shown that when men make less than women, women generally don't want to marry them. Maybe they should want to marry them, but they don't. Over big populations this causes a drop in marriage, a spike in out-of-wedlock births and all the familiar disasters that inevitably follow," said Carlon.
He pointed to the nuclear family unit as the proven backbone of American success that worked in keeping men away from a life of debauchery for much of the country's history. Instead, he points to today's lost culture of men who turn to drugs when they see no purpose in their lives. "More drug and alcohol abuse, higher incarceration rates, fewer families formed in the next generation.
This is not speculation, it's not propaganda from the evangelicals. It's social science. We know it's true. Rich people know it best of all, that's why they get married before they have kids. That model works," he concluded.
