It comes from both sides. guys are just more prone to physical types of bullying. However as poorly as men also treat me due to having no real place in the social hierarchy, IRL more men have treated me like a human being than women. Human beings in general are shallow, selfish and horrible people.

A lot of people like to slate everyone here as "muh misogynists" but imo from my time here and the thousands of people i've met and spoke too as well as just observed over the years, its clear that most dont exactly hate women. Misogyny is a panic causing misnomer in this case since the word itself is so overused nowadays. I'd say a more accurate term for many would be "gynophobic". Understandably, many of us would be wary of or cautious when it comes to women merely because we've only ever been subjected to horrible experiences at their hands. You see the same thing in most people who dont like dogs or whatever else (inb4 lurkers are like "OMG hes comparing women to animals" so they can purposely miss the point like a bunch of dumbfucks). They have bad experiences and become naturally cautious.
