i just check oil prices nowadays instead of reading news about the iran war

Problem with bomber and military airplanes is that they are active daily for either drills or moving stuff. There is a site where you can watch all the objects in the sky currently with an active transponder.

If any nuclear attack would happen by any state, they probably wouldn't bother using a transponder in the first place to mask their action. Normal traffic to my eyes, as someone who watches those things regularly, just another start of the month.

Just as side note: There was a strange incident on the coast of Portugal just this week. A very loud boom sound was audible alongside the coast of the country and echoing through the center of the country. Shortly after a military Airplane took off with an active Transponder from the middle of the country not far from the coast and flew loops before it landed again.

There is still no information what caused the boom sound nor what the military airplane was doing flying loops. No windows broke with the shock wave nor any other damage. Maybe a meteorite - but no info has been shared by the government still even after basically 2/4 of the country more or less heard it happening.

I watched the thing flying it's loops expecting something big but alas, nothing happened as always...

Probably a military interceptor, authorised to go supersonic over land, responding to an aircraft entering restricted airspace unexpectedly.

Oil price rise due to supply disruption is a definite war risk metric. It's almost like cutting off a state's food supply.
