tl;dr that call with my boss was nothing like I expected. According to him, he had been getting complaints about me from various project managers and coworkers over 2019, but he hid that from me (???) and also disregarded them because when he worked with me directly he saw I was good. however the complaints have been going too far and he's constantly asked to put me on a PIP, so now he assigned me to one last project which is my chance to leave a good impression, if I do well all this is forgotten, if I do badly I'll be put on a pip

- i know if i come back to working onsite when this coronavirus thing is over and people is rude to me or hates me, it'll fucking suck, make my depression and stress worse, and affect my looksmaxxing prospects. therefore, i specifically asked him about my coworkers opinion of me, if they complained, if there's gonna be a bad environment... not because i trust him bc obviously he's full of shit, but because he controls the office hivemind so i wanted to know his intentions. fortunately, he sounds like he really wants to keep a good workplace atmosphere with no drama which is great. he said no one in the office has any bad opinion of me and all complaints were from overseas employees that i worked with remotely, i dont buy it, but idc because, like i said, the guy who controls the hivemind really wants a good environment, so people will be respectful to me

but now he says that is not a problem and socializing at work is optional. most likely because his cousin is working at the company and she doesnt socialize AT ALL (its a mostly males company, all sub8, and she's so disgusted she won't even sit in the same table with us, she's such a stupid whore) so it'd be a bit hypocritical if he asked me to socialize more
