I'd chop a finger off.

The rest are too hardcore. I've endured 6 months of fairly intense agony due to my Crohn's. I had an undiagnosed fistula, which meant my bowel leaked into my bladder. The last 6 weeks my intestines were blocked the fuck up almost entirely. Then came some hefty open stomach surgery and a month in hospital. I'd endure that again for the Chad life.

Literally none of us can do it, I imagine if you ask every single person on earth this question only replace it with making their biggest, unattainable dream a reality, only like .1% of the human population would be able to go through with it. Plenty would say they would do it, but none would be able to do it because it takes sever mental and physical disease to manage torturing yourself so thoroughly.

...Now ask me if I would have SOMEONE ELSE do it for me, and I might consider the option since that's actually a possibility.

Yup, I have seen a lot of gore videos and what seems to happen is the victims stop reacting to the pain. I imagine their systems go in shock or adrenaline kicks in and prevents pain receptors. I have seen a video of a man fed his own chopped fingers and he didn't seem to flinch at the pain or even hesitate to eat it. Also seen people get their arms cut off and they seem to just push against it but then after a while just accept it and don't complain.

So I don't think it will be that painful after a certain point, your body maxes out on the pain available to feel.
