I used to think Aks we're better because of the bigger round but then I found out the ar round tumbles once it hits flesh and created more gory internal damage while an Ak makes a bigger hole but goes straight thru also Ar has better recoil control. Not including 300 blackout because they are more rare and not really the norm.

Automatic AK mogs semi-auto AR

Having extensive experience with both through militarymaxxing and such, i gotta go with the old tried and true kalashnikov, mang

The 5.45 shooting ak-74 is the best of both worlds, Chico
7.62 is more fun to shoot, and it has bettER penetration through the desk or other objects. Old School is always better, 5.45 is the zoomER cartridge.

Idk I feel like I would be more accurate with an AR and leave my targets with horrible injuries
7.62 x 39mm is far more devastating and powerful than 5.56NATO, Chico. Plus, the AK has the added bonus of practically going forever without jamming; whereas AR platforms tend to be more finicky.

Also, AK is foolproof in any terrain. ARs might jam on ur ass. Personally, I wouldnt trust not having a clean AR for combat, but with an AK, who gives a fuk, mang :smonk:

Maybe against objects but not against flesh 223 spins once it hits something soft plus they always got green tips

Some guy told me an AR is way better than that relic
Better at what? 5.56 has less drop off at a distance and less recoil so less time to get back on target, but 7.62 is more powerful, has better penetration, and packs a bigger punch. Can always just use 5.45. Also ARs come in 7.62 as well, not just 5.56. And they're ugly af. Show me an ugly AK? Impossible. Show me a good looking AR? Impossible.

AR is also terrible in cold weather and sand, AK is better. But I think AR wins in mud. AR was garbage in everything in Vietnam, though.

Agreed, im more of a 47 mang myself. Shooting 5.56NATO and 5.45x39 feels like childs play in comparison to the more manly 7.62x39

How do you, westerners, dislike design of your guns? I, personally, like AR for design

Ak-74(5.45x39mm shooter) tumbles even better, mang :feelsthink:. Thats why when the afghans faced the soviets who were armed with 74s nicknamed that shit the poison bullet, mang

Not true about the mud, Chico. They did an episode on a show called deadliest warrior between ira and taliban and torture tested each sides rifle, including with mud. The AR jammed, unlike the AK, mang

No context. AR-15 is much more reliable, better sights, better accuracy, less recoil, more ergonomic.

AK-47 has better penetration and cheaper to produce, otherwise it's meh. AK-74 is about as good or better than AR in terms of accuracy and recoil. I think AK-74 would be better for arming a large army due to cost, but that's hardly a concern when heavy and high tech weapons are vastly more important.

Seems legit.

I mean 762 is an older round designed to be powerful and punch through thing straight but if a 223 hits bone it's gonna make a horrible mess inside you as it's gonna twist and turn while a 762 is gonna go straight through

That fucker said AR is much more reliable, so thats where I stopped reading. What a duncecel, mang:feelskek::lul::feelshaha:

I'LL TAKE AK-47/AKM 7.62x39mm (IN VIDEO GAME)

The AK, overall it’s just better tbh

AK for reliability and full auto

AK, I would choose AR if in a squad and have funding/resources to maintain it. But if solo or just self defense AK better. As less maintenance bullshit

Hes a truly retardedcel for tht one, Chico. Lets point and laugh at him together, mang :lul: :lul: :lul: :lul: :lul::lul::lul:
AR has an action that's very well sealed from the elements.

TBF the AK does well on less insane tests, and I recall seeing it beat the AR in an ice test. Otherwise its action is inferior.
As for the M1/M14, its action is a joke that will clog up very easily. The meme that it performed better than the AR in Vietnam is bullshit.

It flops in sand, cold, dust, longevity, field stripping, water, low (0) maintenance for 80 years, but edges out in mud. Huge. Space Race all over again.

I pondered this question before, although I cant buy these where I live. In Canada we're limited to 5 rounds, and they're trying to ban semi-autos now.

I think the AR is a good purchase for people that are really serious about shooting, and want to go to the range every week. The AK is more suited to someone who lives in the country, and shoots out the back of their house occasionally.

I would go for the AK, because it's far cheaper last I looked. Also, I love the legendary reliability, and the charming old-school wooden furniture. Also, you can buy a bayonet for the AK very easily. If I ever buy a rifle, I want a military one with a bayonet. Imagine someone broke into your house, they would shit themself seeing a rifle and bayonet. The one on the Lee Enfield is like a 12" blade, you're supposed to hold it sideways so it doesn't get stuck and snap off in a guys ribs!

I'd pick AR-15 despite them both being good guns. Most AK have inferior accuracy. For example, the 5.45 AK-74 is about as accurate as a M4 which is a carbine.

But then it really depends on where you live. If you live in Russia, then you should get AK because parts and ammo are more common.

High tech weapons are useless if they don't work.

The future is 6.5mm assault rifles

Isnt the AK well known to penetrate anything armored (human or vehicle)?

I prefer the AK as its more minimalistic, AR marksman with long barrel looks more cool with a lot of attachments and sniper scope. In my experience with airsoft, the most fun for me is VSR10.
