You say that now but when it ultimately comes to it you may be surprised how strong the will to live is. Like with this poor guy. Looking at his situation I'd rather die than live like that. But having the choice between life - albeit a fractured and incomplete one and going into the unknown, might no be as clear cut as it seems. I suppose it would help if your a religiouscel and believe in the afterlife. Having faith must be comforting when facing death.
