For one, I just know that while the arrangement might start off equal, I'd end up having to pay more and more until I'm paying for almost everything. I've known guys who were in "50/50" relationships with women at first, and this is how they all ended up. More concerning though is the fact that we would be legally married, meaning at any time she could leave, take half my stuff, and make me pay alimony. The rules are too strict, if I know for sure that I'll either be alone forever or I'll only have her, and have her forever, and never get to fuck her. Let's transpose this to a scenario that is more realistic and possible in real life: choose between going to live with this female friend/roommate who will never be interested in me romantically, or not.
