No that's the easy way out and the usually (failed normie) response is "don't trust anyone bro". We'll have to agree to disagree here. I think the only valid answer to this question (how one SHOULD proceed) is the one the individual concludes. Because only the individual must deal with the consequences of his choice. For many, it's a better choice to omit possibly pleasant future outcomes if it means obviating several possibly catastrophic (as the individual determines) future outcomes. It's like the question of self determination. Only the individual is entitled to decide the value of their own life. JMTC.

It’s simple.

If such a thing as love exists and it isn’t merely the brain chemical dopamine playing a cruel trick of nature on us then I believe that for it to be true love it has to arise in a way that is non exploitative of others and based in truth.

In other words you can’t get it through destroying or manipulating others ie the old “all’s fair in love and war” phrase is thrown out the window and considered utterly counterproductive if it’s “true love” that you seek.

It wouldn’t be real love anyway even if you were able to get a girl with you doing these things ie destroying/manipulating her and others ie others being your opponents for her affection as her attachment to you would be based on her being a sick fuck that gets off on the humiliation, degradation and destruction of others and she’d only remain with you so long as you continued to feed her sadism not because she values you in any other way but to feed this need of her’s or she’d only be with you instead of another guy because maybe you tricked her into thinking the other guy had AIDS or is a child molester or someother thing which would make her feel revolted to be with that person instead of you.

Besides as Rollo says “genuine desire is not negotiable” so if she’s even considering another guy and trying to play you two against eachother she’s not really that in to you to begin with brah.
