Discussion Would you be chill with a return to religious fundementalism

Assuming your country has historically been Christian or influenced by Christian values as well as the newfound popularity of Christian ideology. Would you be okay with your country becoming more conservative on the religious side? The school curriculum will teach religion, all students will be required to go to mass or church, sex ed will be banned, homosexuality will be made illegal or highly unpopular, porn will be banned, contraceptives will be banned, abortion will be banned and all civilians will be required to read the Bible for government positions or employment.

I'm already somewhat used to such religious fanaticism since I used to be a common member of the church as a child and would attend all their events and camping trips, the youth would glorify chastity, the fruits of the spirit memorizing most of all the books of the Bible and so on. I wasn't even allowed to watch or take part in certain things cause they were "demonic" or "satanic". I even sometimes recall listening to evangelical sermons from these incredibly charismatic pastors. The content of such sermons were rather lame but the way they spoke and had the audience completely hypnotized was amazing.

A genuine return to Trad society would be kind of cool ngl, perhaps this is the society I seek opposed to one of communist or fascist totalitarianism.

I don't think this kind of Christian fundamentalism would solve the incel problem. In my experience the entire framework is just very anti-sex. Actually they like to gender segregate almost like in Islam, and it's clear to see how well that went (not very).

No. The cat's fully out of the bag when it comes to religion now, there's no going back to delusions. In order for religion to return, it requires us being limited to small communities in our locations, and with that, hypergamy would naturally be limited again to improve relations.

I’m in favor of a return to religious fundamentalism, but it needs to be in a strictly secular nation. At the highest level of government, there needs to be a separation of church and state. I don’t care what happens at the municipal or regional level. The success of low Church Protestantism speaks for itself.
