I think I have been a villain long enough (or at least treated by one because of my look). I would just be a hero, Chad is the hero.

Never been a glory sort of guy as I prefer working from the shadows for things that are my benefit(look at Garrett from thief).
I can respect people with ambitions as they govern the world and superpowers might change me but knowing me I might help out and then just fuck off somewhere after it becomes too much of a pain in the ass (assassinations, eventual batrayals by power hungry teammates or moral fag teammates). One thing I would do is crack open a science book depending on my powers and figure out ways to use them more effectively and what and their limits.

You can be a villain without being an edgy fool and usually the good villains last longer and are like that. If you have super powers you can rape murder and get away with stuff as long as you have a functioning mind and you use it because real life isnt a comic book with just World fallacy where the world itself tries to punish you for doing something wrong.

Obviously villain because fuck society, I would more likely be an anti-hero though. I would only subdue and arrest small time criminals and villains, if you have killed before I'm just going to kill you and save myself the trouble of having to fight you after you break out of prison for the 10th time lol (The Batman/Joker dynamic always made me think that batman was an idiot who let his emotions overrule his logic)

Why is it that they always make villains look more awesome though, that cliche is so overplayed, the only manga I know of that flipped that script is one of my favs, berserk. The protagonist looks like a demon clad in black armor and the antagonist a pretty more angel often depicted surrounded by white light. Maybe if heroes looks more badass more people would gravitate towards them.

Yeah your right the anti hero is like the cuck in marriage who tries to play alpha game and thinks he runs the relationship.
