I mean the OP was already trying to point out that he wasn't so attractive in the past but I think personality can make some difference even if appearance is the ultimate decider. For example an extremely awkward man of average looks might have more trouble with women than a man of slightly below average looks but with a charismatic Chad personality.
Either way in the context of Elon I don't think either could be a saving grace
