It's a little stressful sometimes (esp. since I like to have a routine), but I have gotten used to it at this point. The PNW has by far been my favorite place to live (specifically British Columbia, but Portland/Seattle aren't bad in terms of scenery either), but the power your dollar has out there is a lot less than the flyover states/most cities on the east coast (NYC and DC being exceptions from my experience)

I live in Sweden and I can be enough self-assured to say that Sweden is the absolute worst country to live in as an average man. Not even chadlites are making it. At least in the US, the americas, southern Europe, people are social and warm. Even in neighboring Denmark and Norway things are completely different.

The people in Sweden are extremely shy and cold. They can't even look at each other on the streets. If you say Hi, even to a guy, you will be seen as a creep no matter what. At university you have to have some kind of group exercises and group seminars before someone has the guts to initiate a conversation. This kind of social environment is like an epidemic in Sweden because it infects everyone, even the one who was born to be social and the immigrants who normally are more social and open. The people here literally have to get a couple of drinks before they can become brave enough to talk and get to know someone else. This is the case everywhere, at university, work (when they have parties), nightclubs.

The male surplus in Sweden is enormous among younger age groups, mainly because of high immigration of young men and the second generation immigrants born in Sweden by immigrant-parents.

Just like OP said there are so many chadlites and above-average men simping for the average women that it just becomes impossible. I can understand why the Swedish government never put us into lockdown because they knew very well that the suicide-rates here would have skyrocketed considering that people here are overusing pills against depression combined with living alone without any social circle. Bare in mind that we live in complete darkness and cold weather half of the year. At least in Americas and southern Europe you have nice weather majority of the year.
