the world seems to be on a path of destroying 20th century culture
it's nothing new, as temporal cultural norms and customs have always changed throughout history all over the world
what today's culture looks like to me is the result of the world being more connected than before and instantly because of the internet
now we see obvious multicultural clash, yet i still see mixed children being born
that tells me that eventually in the future everyone will be mixed
so what will the one world culture be?
i think whatever groups control the internet would control the inevitable future of the world, and outwards if humanity ever expands beyond earth
if there is an alien civilization out there, they probably won't want a cultural clash unless they themselves have already globalized and began extraplanetary expansion
an extremely advanced alien civilization would learn how to accept and adapt to other beings, even if they look radically different and reproduce asexually like worms for example
OR
an extremely advanced civilization would want to be the only civilization in the universe for their own protection, which i think seems unlikely given the unimaginable scale of the universe itself
i speculate it's either a (((narrative))) that is pushing culture in a certain direction or it's an eventual natural phenomenon of the evolution of sapient species (great filter)
BUT let's not forget the fisherian runaway effect, where foids expect more and more
