I worked security for about eight years in total, both as in house LP for a major hotel chain and later as a contract security guard, then supervisor and finally a "lieutenant" (site manager) for one of the largest security companies in North America in terms of employees and revenue. I can tell you that working the contract job was the easiest money I've ever made in my life and paradoxically, the more I advanced through the hierarchy, the more time I had to just fuck off and do nothing work related. I used to sleep on the job, drink on the job, drive around neighborhoods near the work site looking for hookers (I was never successful in persuading one to get in the company car) and watched porn on the job while jacking off in secluded areas. You don't need any formal education, though I was promoted because I went to law school and the general manager for our region thought that our clients management would be more impressed if the person who was leading the site staff had an advanced degree. Most of the time however, your promotion potential will be predicated on seniority and what kind of evaluations you get from your immediate supervisors. I’m doing the graveyard shift from 8pm to 4am on the two party days during the weekend (Friday and Saturday). After training, I think we’re left to our own devices as far as I’m aware. If I see any rowdy people or couples doing PDA, I’m going to flash my high beams and ask to see ID… every time! Being in a position of authority will give me ample opportunity to be more powerful than the people who’d normally bully autistic manletcels such ac myself.
My school has over 25k people, only some of which live in that neighborhood. I’m not too concerned. I’ve already had chads and Stacie’s make rude comments, and it’s not like they’ll change regardless

No, not unless you are acting in self-defense or in defense of others. Security guards are treated as the same as normal citizens so far as the law is concerned. There are a few caveats to this general axiom however, and armed guards usually have greater authority to apprehend and detain persons whom they observe committing criminal offenses on the property of their employer, though the law is very grey in this domain and as such, I would always tell my subordinates to keep their hands off someone unless they reasonably felt that they were going to otherwise risk being assaulted or placed in a dangerous situation.

Yeah, third shift is by far the best. You don't have to deal with clients and the general public or foids for that matter and have far greater independence and discretion in terms of how you perform your patrol duties and whatever else your employer is expecting of you. I was able to act with virtual impunity once I became the site chief and lieutenant (manager) for our particular location as I wasn't accountable to anyone who actually worked there. I reported to the general manager of our region who would never show up at my particular site and likewise had to report to some of the clients managers but they had no direct authority over what I was doing. Generally speaking, you can get away with things so long as you're smart and discreet about when and where you do them. I knew where all the cameras were in our buildings and had access to the cctv recordings back in the office so I could literally delete footage if I wanted to. Like I said, its like Walmart, where the higher in the ranks you get, the more you can just fuck off and not do any actual work.
Update: I already shut down a karaoke party full of trashy foids. They were terrified because I gave them a cold stare the entire time. This place is Stacy central. Fucking clown fest
