Most shooters are just pussies trying to get a couple days of fame by news talking about them. However, there are select few shooters I respect, they actually had a motive that wasn’t “I’m mad and I want attention”. The columbine shooters were like this, but they remain and will remain more notorious than someone like the Nashville shooter or uvalde shooter. But the reason columbine killers will remain notorious is because they paved the way for school shootings and mass shootings, and there’s so much discussion still around the topic. It was a unique shooting, 2 shooters, bombs, right timing. Most of the people shooting up places and schools recently are just trying to get attention and have some low effort motive behind it. Lanza and cho and some other shooters I resonate more with. They both had actual motives and actually got the job done. Most recent shooters fail and fall short miserably, the creativity and shock factor is hard to pull off considering so many shooting have happened and most are desensitized. Most really have to rely on kill count, and that’s hard to do.
True there is no actual motives or backgrounds behind it it's just random and some even go after kids lol like the Texas and Nashville one
