I spent the day with my mother today and had the good fortune of visiting a mall where I made some general observations. Women are seemingly only interested in material possessions and status. My mother was also berating me for not buying things at all. She's like, "You work, so why don't you buy anything?" "Surely, you have to work for something" I'm very fine with being a minimalist for the most part but she cannot seemingly understand it. The only thing I want at my current stage in life is a girlfriend. Until then, nothing else really matters to me that much.
