I swear twitter users are some of the worst people on the internet. Worse than even Tumblr and Reddit users in a lot of ways. Not only do they regularly go on witch hunts and try to ruin people's lives for pretty mundane stuff, but they always speak extremely authoritatively about shit they know nothing about.

This is a good example of that. The "aborted x" meme is just a meme. It's not meant to be serious or political. Yet there's apparently a bunch of people on twitter think incels are literally saying abortion is the reason they're incel and that it's supposed to be serious pro-life propaganda or something.

To an extent, but at the same time I think the majority of the population doesn't go around stalking and harassing people and trying their hardest to get them fired and otherwise ruin their lives over a joke or doing something that's somehow "cultural appropriation".

But you are right in that these people do make up a significant percent of the population, and pretty much control the culture. This is why I fear the day when this generation takes full control. It's only a matter of time, boomers ain't gonna live forever. Considering how hate filled and hysterically authoritarian a large percent of this generation is...I shudder to think of what kind of laws they will pass in a couple of decades.

These people could read 1984 and arrive at the conclusion that the only problem with the government it depicts is the lack of intersectional third wave feminism.
