A common response to our observations tends to be "women are not a monolith!" However, the man who has bothered to observe the principles of the female mind shall quickly unearth the truth—that being its penchant for conformity.
A man leads, a woman follows. Whereas men tend to ignore the tides of society's whims, women flock to them as moths drifting upon a streetlamp. Fashion, marketing, social media trends—these are the tunes to which they dance to without qualm.

To know that her choices have been vetted by her peers is the ultimate accomplishment a woman can achieve, according to herself. Even if, perhchance, her tastes in men deviate from the current norm, her natural inclination to be "as the rest are" shall enbeggar them by the time she reaches adulthood. That is precisely why they continue to obsess over mainstream actors and musicians.

This is yet another reason why I hesitate bestow upon women the classification of "human being." They are a formless collective without the most basal semblance of individuality required to destinguish them from the rest. Barely more than livestock grazing the fields inside the fence of community. The woman who is unconventional, who remains uninfluenced by her surroundings, exists only in fantasy.

6.3 Person, Gender, and Cultural Differences in Conformity – Principles of Social Psychology – 1st International H5P Edition
Helping students organize their thinking about social psychology at a conceptual level
"On average, men and women have different levels of self-concern and other-concern. Men are, on average, more concerned about appearing to have high status and may be able to demonstrate this status by acting independently from the opinions of others. On the other hand, and again although there are substantial individual differences among them, women are, on average, more concerned with connecting to others and maintaining group harmony. Taken together, this means that, at least when they are being observed by others, men are likely to hold their ground, act independently, and refuse to conform, whereas women are more likely to conform to the opinions of others in order to prevent social disagreement."

Mate-Choice Copying in Single and Coupled Women: The Influence of Mate Acceptance and Mate Rejection Decisions of other Women - PMC
Studies of humans and non-human animals indicate that females tend to change the likelihood of choosing a potential mate based on the decisions of other females; this is known as mate-choice copying. In a sample of both single and coupled women, we ...
"Women rated men labeled as married as more attractive than single men. Furthermore, a separate study also confirmed that women rated men more desirable when they were depicted with other women than men who were presented alone or depicted with same-sex peers."
"In addition, model women's negative ratings of a man had a greater impact on women observers' evaluations of the same man"
"The ultimate attractiveness ratings. The ultimate attractiveness ratings for target men were obtained when the compound photos (the photos in which target men were paired with model women)"
"It seems to be that single females are more sensitive to rejection information; thus, they copied models' mate rejection more than coupled females. Previous research has also demonstrated that women are influenced by their same-sex peers' ratings in assessing men's physical attractiveness, especially negative ratings."
