Women have a very low attraction to male bodies on its own. We have established that men are inherently seen as disgusting by females, and that the degree of disgust is dependent on attractiveness (but is not eliminated completely), so we could argue that a female finding a man to be "barely attractive" also means that she is highly disgusted by him and vice versa (i.e. if there is a disgust reaction present in all females toward all men, then all men are more or less "unattractive"—this also corresponds to the "females have impossibly high standards" theory).
